Requirements Consolidation of the IT landscape and promotion of digital collaboration
CONREN Land AG faced the challenge of standardizing its historically grown, heterogeneous IT landscape and making it fit for the future. Different user directories and decentralized, parallel systems from various providers led to increased administrative costs and unnecessary licensing fees.
At the same time, sensitive company data—particularly in the areas of investment and human resources—needed to be better protected.
The goal was to establish an integrated IT platform that would not only consolidate the technical infrastructure, but also improve digital collaboration among employees and specifically promote the acceptance of new technologies and employee know-how. In addition, this would make the training of new employees more efficient and reduce the workload of the IT service desk. The continuous improvement of employee collaboration was also on the agenda.
CONREN Land relied on the expertise of Telekom MMS for the technical implementation and strategic management of change management. The task was to prioritize the individual measures in a logical order, overcome technical challenges during migration, and flexibly adapt the change management roadmap to new requirements.
Solution Comprehensive introduction of Microsoft 365 – technically sound and strategically supported
As part of the project, the existing email systems were successfully migrated to Exchange Online. The introduction of Microsoft 365—with key applications such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive—takes internal collaboration to a whole new level. The use of Microsoft Defender and Intune ensures comprehensive protection for all end devices.
Special attention was paid to change management: key users and end users were continuously supported through customized training courses, consultation hours, and training sessions. The change team acted as a central point of contact to clarify questions at an early stage and develop solutions together.
To support new employees, Telekom MMS developed a customized onboarding app based on the PowerPlatform. Regular service meetings, structured support, and M365 quick checks ensure smooth processes and enable the continuous optimization of collaboration and the technologies used.
This holistic approach—from consulting and technical implementation to change management and support—ensures that all of CONREN Land's requirements are implemented sustainably and that the new ways of working are successfully anchored in the company.
